How To Backup Firefox Settings
1) Press (Alt > Tools > Options > Sync)
2) Now you just need to sign up or login
Once your account is setup, all your settings will by saved by Mozilla. So, if at any time you switch between any device. The settings will automatically sync.
Example: If you have some bookmarks or theme or any personal setting, that will be transfer to the other device as you login. Now some people might not want to sync History as it is not safe. I don't think its a good idea to save your passwords and history on the cloud, but saving bookmarks and Add-ons seems like a good idea. You can save all the settings if you think there is nothing that hackers can benefit, like passwords to some accounts that may complicate things. I have found these settings very helpful, I have a lot of bookmarks and Add-ons that now get installed by only a simple login. Now all I need to do is login and wait a few minutes, depending on your internet connection. Just don't login your account to a device you don't own else you will have to disconnect and uninstall and delete all settings. This setting is for devices you own yourself. I have nothing to hide, hackers only target those who have something to steal. So, you're good if you don't have any credit card numbers saved =). I do highly recommend that you use two-step-verification system that sends a code to your phone and you have to manually enter if you trust the device you can save it and entering the code on that device will no longer be required, Google, Facebook, Yahoo and Microsoft have this security, just go to your settings and find security options and turn on the verification system. Just keep the passwords only and on your device different. Doing this will end the fear of your account getting hacked, even if you have the worse password like "12345678" =). If hackers hack your Phone and then hack your online accounts, which is nearly impossible and yet the safest method out there. When it comes to security, there is nothing secure unless you keep trying. So, don't lose hope and learn to secure your devices from such online threats.
Enjoy securing your devices, and enjoy creating your backup online in the cloud. If you play game, then visit my site: YourGamesReviewer for obviously reviews but also for updates of new games and details as they arrive.
